IN SHOOTING

The film is part architectural documentary and part fragmented theatrical drama. It follows Kati, a fifty years old career woman struggling to establish a connection with the city she works and lives in, Espoo in Finland, and her attempt to escape into a hidden bunker out of town. Full of gaps, ellipses and episodic constructions, the fragmented narrative mirror the frustratingly abstract and normative nature of the city with an a-historical, worldless and brutal state of modernity. In this way the project articulates the vacant dreams of control with the possibility of disjunction and the uncanny.

The script and the monologues are written by Stéphane Querrec.

Cast: Terhi Suorlahti, Ritva Oksanen, Elina Knihtilä.
